About Kai

Taking what she knew from years of writing poetry and short stories, Kai Krilove turned to songwriting for another way to fulfill her craving for storytelling. She is a trained actor, pole/heels, and jazz funk dancer as well.

Her singles “Lately” and “Outrageous” were both awarded the R&B Genre John Lennon Songwriting Award in 2021/22.

Inspired by artists including Sabrina Claudio, Snoh Aalegra, Amy Winehouse, KIRBY, and Cleo Sol, Kai creates her own soulful, vintage Pop R&B sound with her silky vocals and love for European jazz.

Actor/Voice Actor

I’ve been training and working as an actor, voice actor, and vocalist for years, starting in theatre programs and continuing through dedicated acting training.

For the past six years, I’ve worked professionally as a vocalist, and over the past year, I’ve expanded into voice acting, applying my performance skills to both character work and narration.

I trained at The Real Voice L.A. for voiceover and Graham Shiels Acting Studio for on-camera acting. I also continue ongoing vocal training to refine my craft.
